Question

How often do I need to run Diskeeper?

Answer

It is recommended that you have Diskeeper setup to run at least once per day. This ensures peak performance and constant utilisation of the disk. In time, the disk becomes the bottleneck of the computer.
As fragmentation builds up, it becomes a much harder challenge to handle. It is recommended that a defragmentation occurs once daily to minimise the possibility of having fragmentation built up to the point that defragmentation seems impossible. Face it, over time your disk will just re-fragment. Through normal computer use and simple internet browsing, your computer becomes fragmented. Usually sooner than later, this affects your performance. Even cleaning up temporary internet files does not solve the need to defragment daily. Other files on your system will eventually become fragmented regardless. Keeping in an effective schedule (that suits your life style and use of the computer), you can ensure a constant return of your investment, your computer.
