1. Open My Computer or Windows Explorer.
2. At the root of your boot drive (usually C:), locate the folder \Config.msi.
3. If you cannot see the folder \Config.msi:
A. On the Menu bar Tools, Folder Options.
B. Click the View tab.
C. In the Advanced Settings box, locate "Hide protected operating system files" and uncheck the box.
D. Click OK
E. On the Menu Bar, click View, Refresh.
4. If you still cannot see the folder \Config.msi, create it.
5. Right click on the folder \Config.msi.
6. Click the Security tab.
7. In the "Group or user names" box, make sure the list includes either Everyone, with the Full Control Allow box checked, or both Administrators and System, with the Full Control Allow box checked for both.
Diskeeper should now install successfully.
