You currently need to assign a drive letter to the mapped partition for Diskeeper to be able to recognise it and defragment it. If you create a separate physical partition and parse its mount point into an existing partition, Diskeeper will not defragment that separate physical partition as a part of the partition that it is mounted on. You need to assign a letter to the mounted partition and execute Diskeeper on that partition. You can assign a partition letter to it through Disk Management. The ability to recognise partitions without drive letter designations should be handled in a later release of Diskeeper.
