Can I run Diskeeper on SANs or NAS devices?
Answer
Diskeeper is fully compatible with SAN systems, be they connected via a Fibre channel, iSCSI, or other means. If a volume is considered to be “local” to the system (as in a SAN) Diskeeper can defragment it. Diskeeper SA (Server Appliance) is a specialised Diskeeper for NAS devices that includes a Web-based user interface for remote management. Note: Diskeeper SA is not for use on non-NAS devices (including SANs).
